A Court of Mist and Fury is everything I could have hoped for in a sequel—and so much more. Sarah J. Maas takes the world she built in A Court of Thorns and Roses and expands it into something breathtakingly vivid, filled with depth, emotion, and unforgettable characters.
Feyre’s journey of healing and self-discovery is both powerful and beautifully written. The way she transforms from a broken girl into a strong, independent force of nature is inspiring. And Rhysand—oh, Rhysand! He is easily one of the most complex, intriguing, and swoon-worthy love interests I’ve ever read. The dynamic between him and Feyre crackles with tension, wit, and undeniable chemistry.
The Night Court is an absolute dream. Maas paints Velaris with such stunning detail that I felt like I was walking through its streets, gazing at the stars over the Sidra. The supporting cast—Mor, Cassian, Azriel, and Amren—add so much richness to the story, each bringing something unique to Feyre’s journey.
The book masterfully balances romance, action, and emotional depth. The themes of healing, freedom, and finding one’s own path resonated deeply, making it a truly unforgettable read. And that ending? Absolutely jaw-dropping.
If you loved A Court of Thorns and Roses, prepare to be completely swept away. This book is a masterpiece, and I can’t recommend it enough!
